'Pretty Piece of Flesh' - One Inch Punch
'Pretty Piece of Flesh' is a
theme song for the Montague boys, and is first heard during the lead up to the gas station
fight sequence. Sampson and Gregory sing along with the song while making rude gestures at
some school girls. However, as their van drives away, the two Montagues are confronted by
Abra - a Capulet.
The song is heard again at the conclusion of the Capulet ball after Romeo's encounter with
Juliet. Romeo is still shocked by the realisation that she is a Capulet as he is lead from
the mansion by Mercutio and back to their car. The Montague boys sing along with the song
crudely while Romeo stares from the back of the car at Juliet. The song cuts out as the
lovers stare at each other mournfully, and Juliet says the famous dialogue, "My only
love sprung from my only hate..."
The song continues as the car moves towards the gates of Capulet mansion, and Romeo's
friends continue to crudely sing along. Romeo makes a decision, and jumps from the car to
run back towards the mansion and his Juliet.
