'Moulin Rouge!' and 'Romeo + Juliet' Blu-Rays

I am extremely excited to report that the UK release date for the much-anticipated Blu-Ray releases of Moulin Rouge! and Romeo + Juliet is 1st November 2010. Hopefully, the release dates for other countries will also be set around that time. UK websites, Play.com and Amazon.co.uk, have revealed details of the brand new special extras that will be featured on the Blu-Ray releases. Baz Luhrmann fans certainly have lots of fantastic goodies to look forward too, as you can see from the special extras listed below! :)

Brand new content:
- New HD master approved by director Baz Luhrmann
- Alternate opening includes deleted scenes
- Nicole Kidman's "Sad Diamonds" vocal test
- Introduction by Baz Luhrmann
- "A Creative Adventure" featurette

Australia will also be included as part of 'Baz Luhrmann's Epic Romances Box Set', accompanied by the newly released Moulin Rouge! and Romeo + Juliet on Blu-Ray. It is unclear whether Australia will be re-released on Blu-Ray. Unfortunately, I do not think this is happening and the previously released Australia Blu-Ray is simply being marketed with the two brand new releases.

More Photos from Hong Kong Art Fair

Vincent Fantauzzo has recently posted more photos on his official website from this year's Hong Kong International Art Fair. Baz Luhrmann and Vincent Fantauzzo exhibited two booths at the event - one showcasing their portrait of Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan, and the other showcasing their multi-media installation, "The Creek, 1977" (pictured above).
