This song is played after Satine's rendition of Sparkling Diamonds at the Moulin Rouge. After mistaking Christian for the Duke, Satine selects Christian to dance with her and this is the song they dance too! The lyrics of this song effectively serve to lure Christian further into the world of the Moulin Rouge. Just look at the first verse - "I know a place where we can dance the whole night away, just come with me and we can shake your blues right away." This is Satine's message to Christian.
Le Petite Princess is shown singing along to the song, which gives the impression that she is performing this number in the show. Rhythm of the Night has an upbeat, groovy rhythm that makes great jiving music for the Moulin Rouge dance floor!
