The Come What May CD single features this alternate version of the song that is not included in the movie itself. It is a remix by Josh G Abrahams, who produced many of the songs on the soundtrack. He has created an upbeat version of Come What May that makes effective use of synthesisers and is much faster paced. This version can be found on the Moulin Rouge DVD accompanying a music video featuring a series of outakes from the film. Interestingly, it can also be found in the Cutting Room section of the DVD as an alternate version of the first rendition of the song that begins on Christian's balcony. I must admit it took me a while to get used to this alernate version of Come What May. I've grown to like it a lot, but I must admit that my favourite is still the original film version, and I'm glad they decided to go with the slower version in the film itself.
