This section contains a comprehensive list of all tracks on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, including lyrics and a detailed review of most songs. This page also contains information about songs that were released as CD singles.
The Moulin Rouge soundtrack was originally a single CD compilation of songs but, due to popular demand, a second CD was later released. The soundtrack therefore became a double-disc collection of tunes from the film and both CD's are available to buy in a special collector's edition 'box set'.

Fans rejoiced when a second Moulin Rouge CD was released featuring more favourite songs such as Like a Virgin, The Pitch, Bolero and The Show Must Go On. However, unfortunately, some tunes still remain unreleased. These include Zidler's Rap, Fool to Believe, the final rendition of Come What May and John Leguizamo's version of Nature Boy. If anyone knows why these tunes did not make it onto the soundtrack, please feel free to contact me so I can post the information on this page.

Two versions of 'Lady Marmalade' were released as CD singles. I read that CD Single (1) was originally released in Germany with the extra fourth track (supposedly a mix of the radio and club mixes), whereas CD Single (2) was the US version. Both have different covers, but I do not own either of these, and so I am unable to review them. However, the Album and Thunderpuss versions can be found on 'Volume 1' of the 'Moulin Rouge' soundtrack.
