Luhrmann was in town in a party of about 14 doing "final checks"before
construction and production crews start arriving in greater numbers. On Friday
the party chartered the pegasus for a cruise down to Sinclair Bay. The five week
shoot of Australia in Bowen was to have started at the end of April,but has now
been delayed for a fornight. Bowen is being used for World War 2 Darwin in the
movie.
